connectedness, or energy as lava lamp!

i've had an interesting time lately, connecting/viewing and sensing people/animals/plants/rocks, from a slightly different perspective. a funny one at that. it started with martin, as he was practicing reiki on me and i began to sense beams of energy, stemming from me, connecting, merging into his, which also were stemming from his hands in this case. i began to see how the beam of light coming from me, in this case it was light, bright, golden light, became completely merged with his, leaving no trace of separateness. of course i've felt/known this in many different ways in the process of awareness, through meditation, etc, but this time it was different in that i actually felt/saw the energy materialize. i realized that at this level of awareness/connectedness with source, energy is just one, merging and "seemingly" extending/connecting from and to each other. i explored this awareness further and found that everything that breathed (including water, rocks, soil, even 'dead' wood and branches), vibrated with the same energetic field that 'blended' for a lack of a better word, with the energy within me and with other things in it's surrounding. the feeling from these experiences was not of awe, but of deepening. beautiful. later, the image and concept of a lava lamp came to mind as a conceptual model for what i have been experiencing. the wax melting, blending, reshaping, absorbing and creating new dimensions to move in, new shapes to exist within. it made me laugh a little. maybe that explains my long held attractions to them. love, i.
